Slide #7: Installing register vents

1. Determine the location of the register vents, e.g., under windows, under cabinets in bathrooms, etc.
   
2. Cut insulation into register-size openings, e.g., 12"X 4" by 14" long, e.g., tape together 3" and 1" to make 4" wide spacers for vents.
   
3. Install the register vent spacers so that the spacer towers above the final slab grade and tape the edges of the spacers to the covers.
